I visited my friend’s home and noticed handprints on the walls of their lovely home. Arun’s father, a Brahman as is Arun, blessed the house prior to moving in about three years before. When I started on the long canvas art piece that was designed around the concept of the seven chakras, I sent the unpainted piece to be blessed by Arun’s dad with handprints and prayers. I also asked him to write prayers on the canvas as an underlayment of the layers of work to come.
